Appveyor for the LLVM Github Org
Hi All, Appveyor is a CI product for Windows. It's free for open source projects on Github. Libc++ has been using it via the llvm-mirror organization on Github [1]. Should we set Appveyor up for the official LLVM Github organization? The motivation for testing libc++ on Windows using Appveyor over Buildbot is...

Permissions for llvm-mirror - Setting up Libc++ Appveyor builders
Hi Will, I would like to request collaborator permissions for the Libc++ github mirror. I plan to use the access to setup Appveyor buildbots for libc++. In order to do this I need to be listed as a collaborator on Github. The alternative to Github access would be setting up the correct webhooks for llvm.org/git/libcxx.git, but this seems harder to both do and maintain. /Eric -------------- next part -------------- An HTML at...

how to build 64bit xapian using MSVC2017?

Unfortunately the change at which is started to fail was the addition of the new "honey" backend, which doesn't narrow things down to a useful degree. I've checked over the new code and turned up a few issues, but fixing those didn't...

Permissions for llvm-mirror - Setting up Libc++ Appveyor builders
Hi, Fragmentation of the bots is not ideal. While I totally understand Eric's reasoning for doing so, and am delighted to see another Windows bot helping to ensure quality code, I think this is a bit of a slippery slope. We already have the main Buildbots, Green Dragon, Chapuni's Bots, a myriad of private bots and now this new bot. I don't think it is reasonable to ask people to

...st character of the time zone is used for the warning message -- in the code, a const wchar_t* is used for a %s placeholder.) Below is a link to the log of such a failing run. The first 124 lines are registry dumps, output of R CMD * is near the end of the log at lines 212 and 224. https://ci.appveyor.com/project/krlmlr/r-appveyor/build/1.0.36 This happens with R 3.1.1 and R-devel r66309. Is there a workaround I have missed, short of updating TZtable? How can I help updating TZtable? Thanks! Cheers Kirill

Misc patches
Hi, Here are 3 suggested patches. 1. Build test for cmake and run the test in gitlab-ci. 2. Disable the message box on Windows on abort that cause test hangs in CI. 3. Build time improvement by removing unnecessary includes of stdio.h in production code and change to a lighter header intrin.h -> intrin0.h (windows only). Attached screenshot of measurement but it resulted in 14%

...e's also the very handy winbuilder service (https://win-builder.r-project.org/) you can use to check your package on Windows. This service has been a valuable workhorse for years. We should also mention the continuous integration (CI) services provided for free by Travis (Linux and macOS) and AppVeyor (Windows) in combination with GitHub (or GitLab, ...). By adding simple .travis.yml and appveyor.yml to your Git repos (e.g. https://github.com/HenrikBengtsson/globals), they run R CMD check --as-cran and covr::package_coverage() etc for you more or less on the fly, e.g. * https://travis-ci.org/H...
