CLuster analysis with only nominal variables
Hi All,
I am wondering if there is any literature or any prior implementations
of cluster analysis for only nominal (categorical) variables for a
large dataset, apprx 20,000 rows with 15 variables.
I came across one or two such implementations, but they seem to assume
certain data distributions.

glm, poisson and negative binomial distribution and confidence interval
Dear list,
I am using glm's to predict count data for a fish species inside and outside
a marine reserve for three different methods of monitoring.
I run glms and figured out the best model using step function for each
methods used.
I predicted two values for my fish counts inside and outside the reserve
using means of each of the covariates (using predict() )
therefore I have only one value

Please Help
I've downloaded the binary Samba 2.0.7 for AIX. I have no idea how to install this critter. Can anyone walk me thru this step by step? I think once i have
it running, I'll be able to configure it based on the info at samba.org. It's just getting it running that troubles me. I have some experience with *nix, but
not with compliling (sorry, no C compliler on system) and installing
