array slice notation?
Suppose I have an n-diml array A and I want to extract the first "row" -- ie all elements A[1, ...] Interactively if I know 'n' I can write A[1,,,,,] with (n-1) commas. How do I do the same more generally, eg in a script? (I can think of doing this by converting A to a vector then extracting the approp elements then reshaping it to an array, but I wonder if there isn't a

Does the BDC need to "join" a domain?
If I configure a samba PDC and then a samba BDC, do I need a machine trust account for the BDC? That is, do I have to run "net rpc join" on the BDC? Or manually create the account for the BDC in LDAP? -- Mariano Absatz - "El Baby" el.baby at gmail.com www.clueless.com.ar

I have a serous problem. I have for some time now tried to get an SAMBA based Domain Controller working. I have tried with OpenLDAP and tdbsam as backend, but I get the same error every time.
