array slice notation?
...-diml array A and I want to extract the first "row" -- ie all elements A[1, ...] Interactively if I know 'n' I can write A[1,,,,,] with (n-1) commas. How do I do the same more generally, eg in a script? (I can think of doing this by converting A to a vector then extracting the approp elements then reshaping it to an array, but I wonder if there isn't a more straightforward approach) Thanks -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/array-slice-notation--tp24814643p24814643.html Sent from the R help mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Does the BDC need to "join" a domain?
If I configure a samba PDC and then a samba BDC, do I need a machine trust account for the BDC? That is, do I have to run "net rpc join" on the BDC? Or manually create the account for the BDC in LDAP? -- Mariano Absatz - "El Baby" el.baby at gmail.com www.clueless.com.ar

Or what may I have

plotting/examining residuals of a mixed generalised linear model
...e to use plot(model, trt~resid(.)) However it doesn't work. If some one would explain why, that would be great. I've come across the package "zelig", which uses simulation to examine model fit. I haven't gotten my head round this yet, and was hoping some one would advise the approp path to take. Many thanks! -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/plotting-examining-residuals-of-a-mixed-generalised-linear-model-tp25905522p25905522.html Sent from the R help mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Debian Lenny - Samba 3.2.5 + OpenLDAP (slapd) 2.4.11
I have a serous problem. I have for some time now tried to get an SAMBA based Domain Controller working. I have tried with OpenLDAP and tdbsam as backend, but I get the same error every time. I wood prefer to use LDAP as my backend. I have read tons of how-to SAMBA + LDAP, but non of the seams to work for my, is there someone that maybe can see what I have done rung in my config.? I have
