Reshape dataframe according to ordered variables
Dear all, I am still a R apprentice... Apologies for the basic question. I am trying to reshape a dataframe based on the order of two variables (a character variable and a numerical variable). To simplify it, consider the following dataframe > df<-data.frame(id=c("b","b","a","a","a&...

DID failover
...We could get a second server to substitute - What is involved in 'transferring' or 're- registering' the DID incoming lines to a second server in case the primary is down? If there a better fall-over method? I'm looking for the easiest way for the un-educated sys-admin-apprentice to handle it. The system doesn't exist yet so any suggestions are appreciated. I recognize I'll need to modify the SIP phones- I'll figure that out later. thanks in advance Todd

Codeowner for MIPS
Dear community, I will be leaving MIPS on the 20th to pursue other LLVM based endeavours. As such, I am stepping down as code owner. My apologies for the timing with regard to the current release, I had hoped that the process would have be complete by then. I would like to nominate Simon Atanaysan as the new code owner for the MIPS backend. Thanks, Simon -------------- next part

x axis labels
Hi, I have a problem with plotting my data as a histogram using barplot2. I am plotting the x axis using axis(). I want to label only every fifth bar and not all of them as they get too busy but I don't know how to do it. I was trying to set the labels for the axis using at=seq(min value, max value, by=5) but that leads to labels not being under the right bars but just sort of spread around.

Split an audio in more part and recreate the original
Hi all, I would like to split an audio stream into more encoded flows (for example 1, 2 and 3) that have these features: 1) The flows must be re-assemblable and must generate the original stream (1+2+3 = original stream) 2) I can listen only the flow number 1 (even if the audio quality is worst than the original, of course) 3) I can listen only the flows number 1 and 2 (the quality of the

cciss solution for CentOS 7
I've recently come across a thread in the CentOS forums [0] regarding the solution to getting hardware requiring the cciss driver, such as HP ProLiant G5 systems, to install and boot with CentOS 7. The thread was a start in the right direction, but I believe I've determined a better workflow and feel that it would benefit the community to have this published either in the release
