6.4 : How to enable epel and the rpmfusions??
I've installed 6.4 on an old T30 ThinkPad, and I'm in the midst of setting it up. I can't seem to get an rpm of Pan for it, nor even to do yum update. Mousing around fedoraproject eventually got me to http:// rpmfusion.org/Configuration/ and from there to downloads for the free, nonfree, and epel packages (along with a caveat that tells you -- *after* you've gotten rpmfusion

...ions in other translation units, or that show up with dlopen. I am not proposing anything that requires full-program knowledge of class hierarchies. If that's the idea, we are going to actually have to have full-program knowledge somehow, which I don't remember being one of the many, many appositions in FSIPSCCP, either. :) Both of our proposals obviously only work when we can statically see the construction point of an object in some way. However, using a generic memory optimization would require us to be able to see both the actual store to the vtable field and the entire intervening histor...

corrupt mdbox, force-resync segfaults
I could use some help with a corrupt mdbox. doveadm force-resync is crashing (see below), but I really need just to get this account functioning. What's my next step, as far as deleting index files? These were the earliest errors I could find: Nov 28 09:40:21 macy dovecot[6615]: imap(cory at metro-email.com): Error: Corrupted index cache file

GRUB2 configuration for Xen 4.0.x
Hi, all, I followed the instructions on the Xen Wiki page ( http://wiki.xen.org/xenwiki/Xen4.0) to compile the latest kernel from Xen 4.0 source code mercurial (hg) repository. After I executed the "make install" command, the following files were copied into "/boot". xen.gz System.map-2.6.32.41 vmlinuz-2.6.32.41 xen-syms-4.0.2-rc5 But the "initrd.img-2.6.32.41"

logistic regression with temporal correlation
Hello We would like to perform a logistic regression analysis weighting the independent variable in a temporal fashion, i.e. events occuring most recent get highest weight. Does anyone know how to do this in R?? Regards S. Merser and S. Lophaven

usermod under CentOS
My wife's PC, running CentOS 6, suddenly quit connecting to the Net. Autodidact that I am, I fumbled with all the hard- and software I could find or dared try, but did no good. So we lugged it down to our favorite shop. While there, she bought a laptop, and asked them to install CentOS and copy all her files from the PC (including two books she's written and is trying to market).

''Implicit'' subselection of data in find?
Hi, I''ve read about this technique on the great Intraweb but can''t find it any more- hopefully someone can help or point me to a reference! I''d hate to reinvent the wheel if I can avoid it (and rediscover all the gotchas that someone has already found). I''m writing a rails app that I''d like to use to service a number of different websites out of
