Installer package destroys permission settings on /Applcations (PR#7025)
Full_Name: david Reitter
Version: 1.9.1
OS: Mac OS X 10.3
Submission from: (NULL) (18.85.44.174)
The installer package seems to change the permissions on the /Applications
folder (and probably on other folders as well), which means that a normal user
(that does not happen to have user id 501) cannot open the Applications folder
anymore. Both group and user are changed to id '501' (which

error 500 page not showing on production (lighty)
Hi,
Do I need to configure something to get my custom public/500.html page
showing on my production server (lighttpd)? My custom 404 page is
showing but when I hit an exception I just see the default (Applcation
Error) message.
Also, is it possible to include some ERB in error404 and 500 pages?

Re: [PATCH nbdkit] protocol: Implement NBD_OPT_GO.
...export name in NBD_OPT_GO. If an export was
specified it should be handled in a strict way.
Here is one use case that will be easily avoided by being strict about
export name:
1. application starts nbdkit on a port
2. application reports port to user
3. application time out, terminating nbdkit
4. applcation starts nbdkit again on same port
(maybe port range is cycled)
5. application reports port to another user
6. first user access nbdkit, accessing another user disk
If we use random export name, and the server is strict, this failure
is not possible.

It is not very likely that this kind of problem is due to the compiler. I don't know what kind of system you are working with, but you'll need to find some other forum to get help with issues like this.
Sorry that I can't give you a better answer than that, but the sympto...

[LLVMdev] Arm Target
Hello,
We have been testing our llvm(2.8) compiled executables for arm target.
It seems as if the arm target support is not so stable/mature yet.
Is it so ?? We read about the same in the release notes but want a word from
your side.
Thanks,
Sameer

RJS & Ajax question...
Hi,
I''m trying to convert an older Rails application to use Ajax. I''ve
already moved my edit and show actions so that, instead of displaying as
separate pages, they appear in a <div> on my list view.
However, I have two problems:
1) When the user saves the changes, I want to put all the ajax changes
in an RJS template. However, form_remote_tag :url =>{:action =>

corresponding mask bits. Any subsequent FP instruction that
raises an exception with the associated mask bit set will cause
a trap. Usually, this will be a hardware trap that is translated
by the operating system into some form of software exception that
can by handled by the applcation; on Linux systems this takes the
form of a SIGFPE signal.
As above, those mask bits can be set and reset via (operating-
system specific) library calls and/or platform-specific intrinsics,
all of which may also be done within subroutine calls.
In effect, this requires the compiler to treat any...
