Lots of 3D games such as Team Fortress 2, Audiosurf or Stalker have very low performance in comparison to running on the same computer on Windows. What can I do to improve it? What developers have still to implement to fully support 3D rendering?

every thing was ok since 0.9.5x than i cant run it any more. I thought it is a bug and it will be fixed, but since we are waiting for the final version and it is still won fixed, i am a little worried.

when i launch the game it shows the screen with the logo, then goes to the next logo with Half-life 2 but then crashes. I am using the newest Wine available. on ubuntu

ok i've waited a day with steam running and i've stoped and started steam many times and my games still don't show up in the "my games" tab. HI all, I have Wine 1.3.26 installed on my Linux Mint 11 system, and have installed Steam. Steam runs, but it runs incredibly slowly, and causes the rest of the computer to also run very slowly.
