I'll be mentoring that project (and the student is CC'ed).
Although I've already contributed a few patches to clang, I haven't hacked
LLVM much, so I would like to gather some advise before misleading the
student too much :P
So my idea is to use the cu...

[Bridge] SoC - RSTP
What's the status of the RSTP - Summer of Code project?
Is there code available for trying out and/or testing?
I checked the website
http://code.google.com/soc/osdl/appinfo.html?csaid=C0F61CA7F642B875
and couldn't find any recent information.
Regards,
Alan

Good luck,

Frustrating problem with natsemi (DP83815) ethernet devices
[Sorry if this is off-topic for this list, please advise me if there''s a
better place to ask this]
I have an embeded motherboard with 4 natsemi (DP8315) ethernet chips.
I''m running a 2.6.9 kernel (I''ve tried 2.6.11 too) and a very minimal
Slackware distribution.
Now about the problem:
The network interfaces seem to NOT transmit anything when the interface

Justifying R to anti open-source management
Hi
I apologise for this question as it really must be a FAQ. Unfortunately,
I can't find the answer and I'm tired of looking at endless google results
A colleague of mine works for a state government department that has a
policy against open source software or software tainted by open
source. Other government departments in the same state use R but this
