...gui and log into "/asterisk/static/config/setup/install.html", it tells me "No Analog ports has been detected on your system". I have 2 Wildcard X100P cards that are properly installed. Ztcfg shows no problems. I also get the following message from the asterisk console " app_system.c:105 system_exec_helper: Unable to execute '/sbin/zapscan.bin'" when I log into the web interface. ...isk newbie, I fail to understand why it works correctly and exactly once upon Asterisk startup, but no time thereafter. For what it's worth, the latest version of Asterisk (1.6.2.9) does seem to work OK here, and I'm trying to identify any changes that would have caused a change here (apps/app_system.c and main/asterisk.c have been dead ends so far), but it's unlikely we'll be able to upgrade to fix the issue (backporting a fix is a more likely scenario). Is there a was to reset asterisk by dialing? Eg *99 and have it execute the commands to stop now and restart? Also eg *56 to reload? The reason for the restart command is over the weekend it started acting weird, the voice got really choppy and aver i restarted asterisk it was fine. I have had * installed for a couple of weeks now and am very impressed.
