You seem to be streaming at all sorts of different bitrates... I'm guessing WMP is expecting content at 128k, but recieving only 64k or 96k, hence the rebuffering. I have no idea why the server is reporting 128k though... :( Leo

AFIK, pem is simply 1. private key 2. hi, I've installed icecast2 from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/multimedia:/xiph/Debian_10/ because I need url_auth. But I also need SSL, but the proviced icecast doesn't have it: "No SSL capability" Why?? Do I really need to recompile it? Should be default, imho... no? bests, u

hi there, let's say I have a mountpoint /important with a source a, and a mountpoint /notimportant with source b now I have to switch source a and b so that the content of source b plays on mountpoint /important mountpoint /notimportant is, well, not so important of course I can do it manually, but I wonder if there is a trick to accomplish that programmatically or within icecast. ideas

launching icecast/ices from webinterface
hello, i'm starting/stopping icecast (1.3.11) & ices (0.2.2) from a web interface. fine so far, but now i see strange things: both ices & icecast, once started , (ices -B ... , icecast -b ...), both processes and their childs are listening also to port 80, besides their normal operation. i've found out because apache didn't restart (Address already in use: make_sock: could

hello, I've icecast 2.4.4 /w SSL support, and when i enable SSL in the config file: <ssl>1</ssl> and <ssl-certificate>my-all-inlusive.pem</ssl-certificate> I can connect via https://my-server:8000/my_stream but only via https, no longer http. Is there an option to have both? Also my source clients seems to be unableto connect anymore via http, but have to look
