FLAC implementation in Windows 10
...select the best that FLAC can do in terms of minimal CPU impact. In both cases - Apple SRC and Microsoft FLAC - power users have an option for manual access to high performance options, but they have to use third-party software instead of the simplified built-in software.
I don't want to be an apologist for either Microsoft or Apple, but there are other preferences in the computer-user world than our own.

Upgrade from 2.3.1 to 2.6.6 fail
Hi all,
I upgrade my rsync from 2.3.1 to 2.6.6 today in the client host, everything
seems not working after the migration.
I didn't touch the rsync server.
Herewith is the log from my rsync server. I looks like something related to
IPV6, anyone has any idea?
Rsync Server : RHEL4 with rsync 2.6.3 deamon running
Rsync Client (merlin) : Solaris 8 with rsync 2.6.6

Agreed. The problem is that many people who are "explaining" Red Hat
are considered a "side" in the first place. I have been labeled a "Red HAt
apologist" just for merely explaining many things that people will not
believe is anything but a "Fedora Core / Red Hat-only bug." It doesn't
matter how you explain it, there is always an avenue for them to assign
blame to Red Hat -- and no one else.
Ironically, if you have a SLA with Re...

The most recent version of GSConfigure is available at
www.buffalo.edu/~sbesch Several serious bugs that kept the program from
getting started have been ferreted out and corrected with the help of

CentOS Stream suitability as a production webserver
Hello
I've recently discovered the announcement regarding the change in direction
for the CentOS project and I imagine like many others, I'm confused and
concerned about what this means moving forward.
I work for a small web development agency and we offer hosting as part of
our package to clients who need it. We have many CentOS 7 web servers
(DigitalOcean droplets) (LAMP/LEMP) that I

Recommentation: Sessions and PStore
Morning Folks,
As most of you know there were a few people who had the following three
bugs:
* CLOSE_WAIT: Lots of sockets in CLOSE_WAIT state.
* 99% CPU: Mongrel''s getting "stuck" pegged at 99% CPU.
* LEAK: Memory leak.
I''ve successfully fixed these bugs or attributed them to one main cause:
pstore.
First, the memory leak was because of a bug in how the GC in Ruby

This simply isn't true. The medical law you're referring to is HIPPA,
and there's *nothing* in the Microsoft EULA that allows them to read
otherwise proprietary or personal information off your system.
While I'm not a Microsoft apologist, I can stand to see them slammed
from purely ignorant disinformation.
