R-2.6.2 Solaris 11 build, install, and check failures (PR#11093)
...r Solaris 11 required some workarounds - the installation process
seems to fail completely under Solaris 11. A plain "./configure" fails
in pretty much the same way.
Note: "make" is aliased to "gmake -j 4" to use all 4 cpus in this hardware.
