Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas how to solve?
I can''t repeat it on several comps I tried, no matter how much I

I''m trying to install ruby on rails to a host server that I don''t have
root access to. The server already has ruby.
I''ve followed the info on these two pages for installing rubygems in a

rubygems appears to be installed correctly but when

array addition
Hi
suppose I have two arrays x1,x2 of dimensions a1,b1,c1 and
a2,b2,c2 respectively.
I want x = x1 "+" x2 with dimensions c(max(a1,a2), max(b1,b2),max
(c1,c2))
with
x[a,b,c] = x1[a1,b1,c1] + x2[a2,b2,c2] if a <=min(a1,a2) , b<=min
(b1,b2), c<=min(c1,c2)
and the other bits either x1 or x2 or zero according to whether the

Asterisk on Dell blade servers
We've been asked to quote for a large cluster running Asterisk and our
ITSP in a box product. The system will be SIP throughout, with mixed
codecs.
We're considering using Dell blade servers, 1855 or similar, on the
grounds that we normally use Dell machines and they work well, but we
need higher rack density.
Has anyone used these? Any feedback on whether they're

HT1000 on its own -- with dual-GbE NICs and a single PCI-X channel,
plusall legacy PC peripherals logic necessary, it _was_ designed to be

So if I had to guess from the specs, the mainboard is the SuperMicro
H8SSL-i (although I have not confirmed it):

The H8SSL-i is _not_ available via retail channels, only select OEMs.
So you can't just go out and buy it.
Unless you just want a 2 SATA drive version (the 8110 or 14" shallow

ATA: abnormal status 0x7F on port 0xB887
Hello,
We have recently purchased two Supermicro servers, AS-1021M-T2RB
(http://www.supermicro.com/Aplus/system/1U/1021/AS-1021M-T2RV.cfm), and
have built them both with CentOS 5 operating system. They are identical,
apart from the manufacturer of the disk drives.
Kernel is: Linux version 2.6.18-8.1.6.el5

Xen 4.3.1 / Linux 3.12 panic
Hej folks,
I''ve been trying to get a new machine up and running with the latest Xen for a while on a Slackware64 (current) machine.
After installing Xen from source and building a new kernel with all xen options enabled I haven''t been able to get the machine to behave.
The machine is a brand new dual opteron 6212 on a Supermicro H8DGi board with 64G ECC memory.

problems with Auth and Alpha 1a
Hi all
I'm not quite sure how to explain this problem, so I'll just go from the top ;-).
System is setup on a FreeBSD with IMAP and POP3, both can use PAM and SQL (MySQL) as login methods, though only POP3 is accessible from "the world" - IMAP is restricted via firewall to only localhost. Simple eh?
The problem is that dovecot apparently drops the SQL part from time to time.
