[PATCH v2 2/3] fbmem, drm/nouveau: kick firmware framebuffers as soon as possible
Currently vesafb/efifb/... is kicked when hardware driver is registering framebuffer. To do it hardware must be fully functional, so there's a short window between start of initialisation and framebuffer registration when two drivers touch the hardware. Unfortunately sometimes it breaks nouveau initialisation. Fix it by kicking firmware driver(s) before we start touching the hardware.

[PATCH 0/3] drm/nouveau: Fixup module probe to add ->shutdown()
This series is intended to add support for shutting down the GPU on kernel shutdown/reboot using the ->shutdown() hook, similar to what amdgpu does. [PATCH] drm/nouveau: Add correct turing page kinds
Turing introduced a new simplified page kind scheme, reducing the number of possible page kinds from 256 to 16. It also is the first NVIDIA GPU in which the highest possible page kind value is not reserved as an "invalid" page kind. To address this, the invalid page kind is made an explicit property of the MMU HAL, and a new table of page kinds is added to the tu102 MMU HAL. One

[PATCH v5 11/12] drm/nouveau: Defer probe if gmux is present but its driver isn't
gmux is a microcontroller built into dual GPU MacBook Pros. On pre-retina MBPs, if we're the inactive GPU, we need apple-gmux to temporarily switch DDC so that we can probe the panel's EDID. The checks for CONFIG_VGA_ARB and CONFIG_VGA_SWITCHEROO are necessary because if either of them is disabled but gmux is present, the driver would never load, even if we're the active GPU.
