"battery is low" logged
I got around to unplugging my UPS and I found it doesn't last nearly as
long as estimated.
Is the "upsmon[1446]: UPS desktop_ups at localhost battery is low" logged
when "battery.runtime:" = "battery.runtime.low: 120"?
Does any make better batteries that don't go down faster when they get old?

Nut v2.7.3 - how to force shutdown for a specifc ups only

It is possible - simply send a "shutdown.reboot" or "shutdown.stayoff" command via `upscmd`.
Other instant commands (which may or may not be implemented on your UPS):

thank you, for your fast reply. It is never to later to learn new
things. I was so focused on the 'upsc -c fsd' command that I didn't
realize that there are other possible ways to solve my problem.

There are also ways to send shutdown commands to a running driver with "upscmd", which is useful for scenarios other than "shutdown and return when the power returns".

test.battery* instant commands: https://networkupstools.org/docs/user-manual.chunked/apcs02.html
(I don't know if test.panel.start is exactly the same.)
More detailed status is typically reported in the "ups.test.result" variable: https://networkupstools.org/docs/user-manual.chunked/apcs01.html

Very good, thank you.

Installing XCP from USB thumb drive
Has anyone experimented with installing XCP from a USB thumb drive? Is it possible? How was the installation media installed to the USB thumb drive (e.g., dd)?
