Does anyone have experience to compile Linux kernel in LLVM-2.6? I am working on a C/C++ race detection framework and want to test in large applications. But I do have a lot of errors while compiling Linux kernel 2.6.3 using LLVM-2.6. Actually, I only need to get the .bc bitcode file. Anyboy does similar work before? Appearently, the memory is the problem. I also tried various memory re-allocation procedures, They didn't work. Can anyboy help on this? ...k (this is a test machine) I've switched off with no shutdown. Except the / all other partitions accused a "journaling something at boot time". Since I can see the .journal I assume that it may be a explicit call to fsck.ext2 somewhere (/etc/rc.xxxx?) . Is this correct ? Does anyboy know where to change that ? Best Regards, Lx

The dialogs (such as user preferences) comes up, and I can work with them, but once I click "OK", Notes 6 hangs, and after a number of seconds the client crashes. As far as I can tell, it happens every time I close a dialog. Has anyboy investigated this further? Is there an easy fix for it? /Robert -- Machines have less problems. I've googled the web for quite a wile to find a solution but as I'm not a native english speaker and I don't know too much about telco I was not very successfull. I don't want to bother you with all the stupid questions that came up but if anyboy knows a good site about the basic telco terminology please let me know that would help me a lot while googeling on this subject and I'd probably be able to understand the results better. I am having a lot of problems with nmbd. Basically it refuses to open its socket to listen on. I have checked, and the reason cannot be that the port is in use, as I can set any port with the -p switch, and I get the same error.
