kstest vs shapirotest
...- thanks a lot for this useful package)as an indication of possible self-thinning in an experimental tree stand. Problem: Results from the ks.test and the shapiro.test are not comparable (see example of both tests). Tree height is a nice continuous variable. Sample size is around n= 250-350. Does anybode know about a problem in ks tests using a large sample size and working with subsets (e.g file[,])? Comparing tests with qqplots, I would appreciate shapiro, but I am wondering about the results from ks (test ist not very sensitive, D=1, p=2.2e-16 many times? Thanks Sibylle > shapiro.test(Biot...

Roaming Profile gets deleted
Hi there, I try to move our W2K Domain to samba. I managed to dump a list of the old users with its SID's and created them on the samba domain which has the same sid like the old W2k domain. Then the users should be able to use their old roaming profile without changing the profiles sid. This works if the computer which acesses the domain has already the profile on its disk. If the

mysql frontend for linux.
Hi list. I''m using Ubuntu distro. for rails development. Today, to my disappoint, I''ve found that there''re certainly almost no mysql frontend which runs very well. (1) mysql-query-browser: Seems to be very nice. But, it quickly exits when I press ctrl+enter or modify a table structure. Something strange is happening here, but I can not figure out what it is. @Don your solution does not solve Vijayan's scenario 2. I used spread and gather for that. An alternative solution to insert mising Fval - picking up with Don's newtst - is newtst <- c("FName: fname1", "Fval: Fval1.name1", "FName: fname2", "Fval: Fval2.name2", "FName: fname3", "FName: fname4", "Fval: fval4.fname4")

Using callgroups (was: Taking a call for someone elses extensionfrom my extension)
Callgroups/pickupgroups are allocated per channel, not in the dialplan. sip.conf and zapata.conf are the two files you're interested in. -wade ---- Original Message ---- From: wipeout@linuxmail.org To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com, Subject: RE: [Asterisk-Users] Using callgroups (was: Taking a call for someone elses extensionfrom my extension) Date: Sun, 20 Apr 2003 16:39:15 +0000

New overhead and MPU features in HTB
I just wanted to inform that there is new patch donated by Walter Karshat which implements packet overhead and MPU computations to the rate table. See diff for details on arguments. No tc binary available yet at I have to compile it on system with older glibc (not everyone use 2.3.2). ------------------------------- Martin Devera aka devik Linux kernel QoS/HTB maintainer
