Message Filenames
Is there anyway to get a message's filename through the imap server? I've been developing a program for awhile and just switched to dovecot from courier. Courier had a file that for every line was like: <message uid> <message filename> Is there anway to get this information out of dovecot? -Charlie

Struggling to get dovecot working with postfix auth

To me, it seems dovecot is not behaving correctly, because if it is not using root to access the directory then it is not going to be able to chmod the socket later is it ?

Reconstructing files from shards
...uire that shard lock it until the copying is complete. And until then no IO can happen into this file. (I haven't found the time to work on this, as there exists a workaround and I've been busy with other tasks. If anyone wants to volunteer to get this done, I'll be happy to help). But anway, why is copying data into new unsharded volume disruptive for you? -Krutika On Sat, Apr 21, 2018 at 1:14 AM, Jamie Lawrence <jlawrence at squaretrade.com> wrote: > Hello, > > So I have a volume on a gluster install (3.12.5) on which sharding was > enabled at some point recentl...

nearly there
Hi Timo et all. At last I found with unix socket wouldn't connect and it works now. However after auth, imap crashes with signal 6. This happens on 1 machine, the other (unixware too) work fine. The stack trace doesn't make much sense here it is anway... Winbugs under R's error message
Dear R lists, I ran Winbugs under R. I could get the results, but I kept getting the error messages: Error in file(con, "wb") : cannot open the connection In addition: Warning messages: 1: In file.create(to[okay]) : cannot create file 'c:/Program Files/WinBUGS14//System/Rsrc/Registry_Rsave.odc', reason

Saving memory usage -- .C(....., DUP = FALSE) danger?
...r <- .C("foo", x=x, y=as.double(y), DUP = FALSE) Will 'x' be altered after the call to .C(*) if in C's foo(double *x, double *y) x is altered? Will 'y' be unaltered anyway, since "as.double(y)" produces a a different object than 'y' anway? I know that I could make experiments and find out, but hopefully, one of you will know much better and explain to all R-develers. Really useful might be a comprehensive list of recommendations on when "DUP = FALSE" is useful / advisable / detestable ... Thank you! Martin Martin Ma...

Some experiences
...home/users/%n/Maildir (non-shell users are all inside /home/users; shell users have mail there, with symlinks to ~/Maildir); the passwd-file establishes the location of the INBOX pretty definitively, I would think. The solution was to remove the realm (which isn't useful except for digest md5, anway, right?). Hey, it's working! Wahoo! *laugh* Anyway, if someone can offer suggestions on what's up with the pieces that *aren't* working, I'd be interested to know. It might give me a greater range of options. Amy! -- Amelia A. [PATCH 00/15] Share TTM code among framebuffer drivers
...oves the underlying bo into vram - unpin framebuffers (which is just accounting, we don't want to move the bo on every flip!) - if a pin doesn't find enough space, move one of the unpinned bo still resident in vram out - no pipelining, no support for dma engines (it's all cpu copies anway) - a simple drm_mm should be good enough to manage the vram, no need for the ttm style abstraction over how memory is manged - also just bake in the lru eviction list and algorithm - probably good to have built-in support for redirecting the mmap between shmem and iomem. - anything that needs p...

[PATCH v4 5/5] x86, kvm: support vcpu preempted check
...preempted = kvm_vcpu_is_preempted; Would be nicer to assign conditionally in the KVM_FEATURE_STEAL_TIME block. The steal_time structure has to be zeroed, so this code would work, but the native function (return false) is better if we know that the kvm_vcpu_is_preempted() would always return false anway. Old KVMs won't have the feature, so we could also assign only when KVM reports it, but that requires extra definitions and the performance gain is fairly small, so I'm ok with this. > diff --git a/arch/x86/kvm/x86.c b/arch/x86/kvm/x86.c > @@ -2057,6 +2057,8 @@ static void record_st...
