RAID/SCSI/IDE/SATA and a TE405P (or T100P) c ard. Should I expect problems?
Hello, We use all SCSI PCI card hardware RAIDs on all 4 of our production Asterisk servers. They all have Digium quad T1 cards and they all have from 2 to 4 T1s hooked up to them. We have had no noticable problems with dropped calls/poor quality. What are you looking to do with this system? what kind of traffic will be going through these 4 T1s? Starting backgroundrb from rails and restarting with rails
Hi, I have my rails sites tricked out with capistrano, and backgroundrb, so I can easily use the ant tasks, but I would like to be able to start and stop backgroundrb from within rails. I have a few reasons for this: 1. Using fastcgi, backgroundrb would start under the apache user and the same mod_security context as apache, instead of my developer account which has many more privileges. 2.

VSP? Looking for advice.
Has anyone tried using BroadVoice for VSP? I have Asterisk configured for a home office & I've been trying to decide which VoIP provider to go with for a little while now. I had heard you could get sub $.01 calls but I have not found that to be true yet (not saying it's not possible, I just haven't found it!). Also I'm not sure if BV will support multiple lines. Any
