deleting files problem
...the system cannot find the file specified
and doesn't delete the rest.. if I do it again, it deletes more
file, but messages still appear, doing it aout 5 or 6 times and
all files are deleted.
I upped log level to 5 in samba and it mentions mangling file names
but couldn't really see any answser there...
Has anyone else seen this behaviour or know what is causing it?
Thanks

dist() {"mva" package} bug: treats +/- Inf as NA
.... One possibility would be to drop the pair (as
currently) also when both are not finite,
for "binary" to signal an error for +- Inf,
and for "Canberra" :
Of course, d = |x - y| / |x + y|
will be 1 , when one of {x,y} is infinite.
This could be considered the desired answser, or also
we may give a warning in any case.
Opinions?

InPlaceEditor update of page contents ?
Hi all !
InPlaceEditor refreshes only the element that was updated. Is there
any way to make it update tons of other stuff ?
I have a table where changing a value in it causes changes in most
other cells (weight to percentage to money).
Thanks for any help !

How to efficiently extract the calledFunction from a complex CallInst?
Hi all,
Usually if we want to get the called Function we can directly use
CallInst->getCalledFunction(), however, today i encounter an unusual
CallInst as follows:
%call11 = call double (...)* bitcast (double ()* @quantum_frand to double
(...)*)()
the original C source involve type cast:
float u,v;
extern double quantum_frand();
u = 2 * quantum_frand() - 1;
v = 2 * quantum_frand() -

TDM-400 and dialplan -- how to ring a SIP extension *before* answering the PSTN line?
Hi, folks:
Okay, so here's an idea.
I have a TDM-400 card with an FXO card in it connected to the PSTN and a
Polycom IP 501 phone.
Observe the following simple dialplan for illustration:
> [incoming]
> ; incoming calls from the FXO port are directed to this context from zapata.conf
>
> exten => s,1,Answer()
> exten => s,2,Dial(SIP/polycom)
And zapata.conf:

How to defer SDP in ACK for unit testing purposes
Hello,
I think I met a case similar to the one solved by [1] . Quoting this case :
* res_pjsip: Handle deferred SDP hold/unhold properly.
Some SIP devices indicate hold/unhold using deferred SDP reinvites. In
other words, they provide no SDP in the reinvite.
A typical transaction that starts hold might look something like this:
* Device sends reinvite with no SDP
* Asterisk

Can lmer() fit a multilevel model embedded in a regression?
I would like to fit a hierarchical regression model from Witte et al.
(1994; see reference below). It's a logistic regression of a health
outcome on quntities of food intake; the linear predictor has the form,
X*beta + W*gamma,
where X is a matrix of consumption of 82 foods (i.e., the rows of X
represent people in the study, the columns represent different foods,
and X_ij is the amount of
