...the system cannot find the file specified and doesn't delete the rest.. if I do it again, it deletes more file, but messages still appear, doing it aout 5 or 6 times and all files are deleted. I upped log level to 5 in samba and it mentions mangling file names but couldn't really see any answser there... Has anyone else seen this behaviour or know what is causing it? Thanks Bill

One possibility would be to drop the pair (as currently) also when both are not finite, for "binary" to signal an error for +- Inf, and for "Canberra" : Of course, d = |x - y| / |x + y| will be 1 , when one of {x,y} is infinite. I have a table where changing a value in it causes changes in most other cells (weight to percentage to money).
