Weighted SUR, 2SLS regressions
Is there an option for running SUR and 2SLS regressions with weighting
(I am analysing mortality in towns, hence want to weight by population size)
Many thanks

How do I get ABI information to a subclass of MCELFObjectTargetWriter::GetLocType?
...the ABI, IsILP32
<foo>ObjectWriter::GetRelocType(...)
use state to guide which relocations are generated
I don't know if the object lifetime of MCTargetOptions allows a reference to be kept around, so the information extraction in the MCAsmBackend subclass constructor may be required.

Samba Slow, and I have high Quality NICS
I have SLOW file transfers across samba to my Windows Server 2000 domain.
I am using a built in 100bT Intel Pro NIC, I have tried the built in gigabit
NIC and a PCI 3com, all with the same results.
Using iperf, I get about 45-90Mb of bandwidth from my PC's to my samba
server.
I can pull it up by \\servername <file:///\\servername> or \\ipaddress

Routing changes break NAT (not a shorewall question)

Any suggestions?

How do I get ABI information to a subclass of MCELFObjectTargetWriter::GetLocType?
I am implementing a defined, but currently unimplemented by LLVM, ABI. This ABI differs from an existing ABI in its ELF object format by implementing a subset of an existing ABI, but encoded differently and by setting the e_ident EI_CLASS field. I am trying to use MCTargetOptions::getABIName to set a boolean in the modified subclass of MCELFObjectTargetWriter to indicate which relocation encoding

Survfit Error
...aset is called sleep.
But I get the following error
Error in UseMethod("survfit", formula) :
no applicable method for 'survfit' applied to an object of class "Surv"
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, as I followed the example from
the following paper http://anson.ucdavis.edu/~hiwang/teaching/10fall/R_tutorial%201.pdf , page 4 as a guide.
I also tried
sleepfit <- survfit(Surv(timeb, death==1), data = sleep)
and
sleepfit <- survfit(Surv(starttime, endtime, death), data = sleep)
Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks,
Lucy

Quick poll: CVS commits
Hi folks,
I''m conducting a straw poll for your opinions on whether we should send
CVS commit logs (probably with diffs) to the shorewall-devel list, or to
another (new) list?
I can see advantages to both ways: separate lists mean that people who
aren''t contributing code don''t get flooded with code noise, but a single
list will help keep everyone involved in the

Histogram for grouped data in R
I have grouped data in this format
Size -- Count
0-10 -- 15
10-20 -- 25
20-50 -- 10
50-100 -- 5
I've been trying to find a way to set this up with the proper histogram
heights, but can't seem to figure it out. So any help would be much
appreciated!

Vservers and shorewall

I''m using the 2.6 series 5 vservers on eth1 running on

One of the proxies has 3 interfaces (well 4 if you
count the ath0 interface whose traffic I''d like to
pass through the "vproxy"); one facing the hosts''/out
interface, one facing the "dmz" where two vservers

Been trying to track down an issue where when I issue a restart on

My only recommendation is to use the stable release stream (2.0.x)
rather than 2.1.9, which is a development release. Unless there are
bleeeding edge features you absolutely must have, you should generally
choose the stable release.

Blacklist and rules - order of processing
I was wondering if i could stick a certain ip in the blocklist, but at
the same time have an allow rule for http in the rules section. In
other words i would like to block pretty much all access from a certain
internet address except for http from the internal network. So does the
rules file get parsed before the blacklist in the firewall to make this
possible?
