CentOS Linux updates released (RSS Feeds)
As you may or may not know, we do not have the ability to currently
announce CentOS Linux 8 announcements on the CentOS Annonuce Mailing
List.? We would like to add this in the future.? For now, what we do
have is an RSS feed for all updates that get released.
Use your favorite RSS Feed Tool (I use Thunderbird .. lots of other
things available).

win98printer+samba2.0.7
LaserjetHP4MP is connected to win98 machine
"server".
My goal is to print from Slackware7.1 machine
using Samba.
So far, I did:
smbclient //server/"HP 4MP" -P
...password etc...
smb> print /home/test.txt
...system annonuces printing but nothing really
happens until another printing job is being sent
from windows machine, printing my linux page as the first one.
My questions:
1.Are spaces in the name of the printer allowed?
The command smbclient -L server shows the printer as HP 4MP (not HP_4MP).

Security.html is out of date.
...s indicated in the various "openssh-unix-announce" notes, I
would be happy to send the HTML to you if provided a point to place the
document or email to send it to. The HTML I would provide includes a
bullet for each security item and for security items corrected since 3.7, a
link to the annonuce note, and a link to the corresponding CVE for those
newer items.

yum security update issue
Hi all,
I have used http://cefs.steve-meier.de/ plus https://github.com/vmfarms/generate_updateinfo to insert
some security-information into my os-updates - mirror.
This seems to work, but only partially.
On my 7.4 test server,
> yum --security -v check-update
gives me dnsmasq, nss, nss-sysinit and nss-tools as the packages to install.
The nss-packages are all of "severity =
