Can Asterisk provide Answer Supervision signalling to a channel b ank via T1?
I have an older Newbridge Mainstreet 3624 upon which I'm terminating some analog DID lines. They are effectively loop-start trunks with battery supplied by me (ie. FXO) and consumed by the serving central office. One major part of DID is the requirement for providing Answer Supervision in the form of battery polarity reversal on the analog trunks. Without it wierd things start happening, like

package metafor: specify weights?
...lizing the sample sizes within each set of the two study types and use these normalized sample sizes as weights. Would that be possible with rma()? So far, I only found the option "weighted = TRUE/FALSE", but no possibility to specify which weights should be used.

For this I have downloaded the 'betategarch' package for R to run EGARCH with student t dist. Although the package has

predict.glm and predict.gam output
Hi all, I am currently trying to compare different plant occurrence prediction maps generated in R and exported into GRASS. One of these maps was generated from a glm fitted to some data, and subsequently applying this glm model to a wider region using predict.glm. The outcome here was a probability of occurrence. The second map I generated using a gam (mgcv), however, this map seems to have

Filesystem quotas
I could not determine if when using filesystem quotas (http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Quota/FS) Dovecot will use the reported quota and limits without the need of configuring them via "quota_rules". Is this possible somehow? Such a feature would determine the quota limits automatically from the filesystem quotas thereby allowing to make use of them in quota warnings. Dovecot already knows

more on cbq parameters
While I''m thinking about that review of howto changes, here are a few other responses about things I don''t believe. I''ll be interested in more info if anyone has any. ==== [from new doc] Besides being classful, CBQ is also a shaper and it is in that aspect that it really doesn''t work very well. It should work like this. I''ve not noticed that it

[RFC] [PATCH] Split host arch headers for UML's benefit
The patch below fixes the recent UML compilation failure in -rc5-mm1 without making the UML build reach further into the i386 headers. It splits the i386 ptrace.h and system.h into UML-usable and UML-unusable pieces.
