I feel no strong attachment to the code/scripts/README, so feel free to use/reuse whatever you like. BTW, I used the excellent Anjuta [DevStudio] IDE to do my C/C++ development under Linux. I''m normally a windows guy (by trade, not choice) but Anjuta made me feel right at home! Re: Question about wxMenuBar
...his case, > "Ctrl P" is now "Ctrl X". > > Do anyone know how I can prevent this from happening? > Your help will be greatly appreciated. Interesting. I couldn''t find this in the wxWindows documentation, but I have seen similar behavior before in the Anjuta programmers editor. Basically, while any menu item is highlighted, hitting a key combination sets the shortcut for that menu item. At least, it does on my Linux system. You can see this in the minimal wxRuby sample. Bring up the File menu, and make sure the Exit item is highlighted. If you use...

Printing with CUPS
I've just been trying to get my Samba 3.0.0-2 build to work with CUPS. The rpm I downloaded from the Samba site was not compiled with CUPS library support. Which is why I am assuming that having added printing = cups in my conf file things are not working. If I use the source rpm can I force the build to include CUPS library support ? Or do I have to build from scratch? thanks Alan

GenericDirCtrl
A little patch to add Wx::GenericDirCtrl. A non-native control (on OS X at least) but maybe useful to someone. I have tested it but think it should just be added to controls.rb sample - will do later when i have fixed some other probs with that. Also, I''ve started putting class-specifc style constants in the relevant .i file, as discussed previosuly - will submit a patch doing this
