Xlite = no sound
What's the secret to getting sound through Xlite? The SIP messages all look OK to me, but the sound isn't coming through. It was trying to use GSM, so I searched the archive and tried: disallow=gsm allow=ulaw Now it says that it's using ULAW but I still get no sound in either direction. G'day, First off, I'm not subscribed to the list, so if there are any responses that should be directed to me, feel free to CC me in :) The below url is an updated patch of Professor Tom's earlier SRP patches for SSH. The only things changed was so that it would compile on a newer openssh version. For more information regarding SRP, see http://srp.stanford.edu This isn't

Problem Starting RC1
Hello, I was running a very simple test setup with * HEAD 7/15/2004 on Fedora Core 2 and things were working fine. Today I upgraded to RC1 and my asterisk service will no longer start. I downloaded the tarball, extracted, ran 'make', ran 'service asterisk stop', ran 'make install', removed all files in /etc/asterisk, ran 'make samples' and then ran 'service

sip phone problem
Hi all. I have 2 ip phones (Grandstream Budgetone): -budgetone1 -budgetone2 All two are connected to an Asterisk server. When I make a call from budgetone1 to budgetone2, I can speak with budgetone2 whith no problem. But when budgetone2 hangs up, budgetone1 does not play any tone (like busy tone). Budgetone1 seems to be still in conversation, but what conversation! Has anyone had a problem

Voicetronix
Has anyone gotten the voicetronix boards to work with Asterisk, what would it take? Or does anyone know where I can get 4 ports or more fxs PCI cards that do work with asterisk? Brian J. Voicetronix V4PCI
Hi all, I think I've got the V4PCI card working with asterisk (can't tell for sure, can't dial out since the card doesn't appear to understand 2 or 3 dtmf codes, if you've seen that before, let me know). Has anyone else had problems/successes with those cards before though? Thanks, Andrew Griffiths

IXJ card doesn't want to dial out (see previous thread, asterisk won't answer pstn ring)
Hi all, Currently trying to get asterisk to dial out with an Internet Line Jack card, however, it does not use the pots line, only on the line it dials out of. This is similar to the previous thread/posting "Asterisk won't answer pstn ring", but I didn't find any follow up to get it working. My asterisk setup is like this: iptelephony:/etc/asterisk# cat phone.conf | grep -v
