A problem with gluster 3.3.0 and Sun Grid Engine
Hi,
We got a huge problem on our sun grid engine cluster with glusterfs
3.3.0. Could somebody help me?
Based on my understanding, if a folder is removed and recreated on
other client node, a program that tries to create a new file under the
folder fails very often.
We partially fixed this problem by "ls" the folder before doing
anything in our command, however, Sun Grid Engine

[Request for review] [RFC] Add label support for snapshots and subvols
From: Anand Jain <anand.jain@oracle.com>
(This patch is for the review/test not yet for the integration).
Here is an implementation of the feature to add label to the
subvolume and snapshots. Which would help sysadmin to better manager
the subvol and snapshots.
This can be done in two ways, one -...

This is a very modest rate.
Any ideas why tcpdump loses so many packets? And how to make it do better?

rendering images dynamically
...g @image.url %>
The problem is that with this approach, I get a DoubleRenderError, and
I think this is because render is being called multiple times in the
block call within the loop.
What is the best way to get the effect I need (to load images one at a
time as they become available)?
Thanks
Anand

yum install <olderversion> does not downgrade
...in our repository.
I have a strong sense that yum _used to_ downgrade packages if asked to
install an older version, but perhaps I am misremembering.
Nevertheless, I want to ask: is this a bug in yum? If asked to install a
specific version, should it not upgrade OR downgrade as needed?

Serving MS Access Databases, with ACL
...e should serve about 4 users, with read/write access.
I am using the XFS file system, with ACL support.
Has anyone setup such shares in smb.conf?
I would really like to see an example.
Lastly, I do not think I want to use oplocks.
Any help, will be greatly appreciated.
God bless.
