error 86 : bad password
I'm currently trying to install samba 2.0.3 following DIAGNOSIS.txt on Solaris 2.7 When I try "net view \\ampere" ( ampere = samba server ) I got the following : Error 86 ... bad password ( in french : erreur 86 , mauvais mot de passe, contacter votre administrateur reseau...) what can I do ? I believe the error comes from the smb.conf but I tried several changes and none were useful. Tha...

# IP601's with POE per Catalyst 3560G-48PS
...to figure out how many phones can be powered. The Cisco 3560 datasheet says "the 48-port PoE configurations can deliver the necessary power to support 24 ports at 15.4W, 48 ports at 7.7W, or any combination in between" ...370 Watts POE max output. >From a UPS planning site: Volts * Amperes = VA VA * .8 = Watts To convert small units into large units you divide. Amperes = 1000/500mA = .5A VA = 24V * .5A = 12VA Watts = 12VA * .8 = 9.6 Watts 370 Watts maximum output / 9.6 Watts/phone = 38 phones Does this logic hold water or change with line loss? X100M never goes on-hook state
...m) never goes on-hook after hanging up in Asterisk. It had worked perfectly well for over four years. I put an ammeter in series with the line and the card, and immediately after plugging the connector to the card, I got 26mA in the circuit and a dial tone from the carrier, where it should be zero amper (on-hook state). If a Dial() something, it works perfectly. I can Hangup() the call, freeing the channel in Asterisk, but the hardware keeps off-hook forever, locking the line. If I Dial() again, Asterisk opens the line, sends the DTMFs normally, but it doesn't work since the carrier thinks I&...

24V DC ATX PSU with limited UPS functionality over USB
...oller... Now the question to you: Since I do not want to reinvent the wheel, I like to use existing programs where I think, NUT is the perfect solution... The problem is, HOW I have to deliver the data to it or how must I provide it? The "PowerWhatch" module picks only the Voltage and Amperes and Temperature from each of the 11 modules... and maybe it will store them for a while in a 8-16 kByte NV-RAM or something like this... If you have ideas or suggestions, please let me know. Greetings and Nice Day Michelle Konzack Systemadministrator 24V DC Electronic Engineer T...

[nut-commits] svn commit r1582 - in trunk: . data docs drivers man
...tically large values, especially when we report them with two decimals resolution (10 microAmps). Even the laboratory measuring equipment that is standing right next to me now, doesn't offer this resolution in the range that is common for most UPS'es. I think you meant to write 'Ampere (A)' here and in that case, two decimals (10 milliAmps) resolution is not too unreasonable. Reporting outlet voltage with 10mV resolution is ridiculous. This would require an accuracy of better than 0.004% to have any meaning. This is at least two orders of magnitude better than the acc...
