Upgrading to new versions of R.
...hatever functions and datasets I have stored in
the saved workspace of the previous version of R that I was running. Is it
possible to source/input this workspace from the previous version of R into
the new updated version, so I don't lose anything? And if so, where could I
locate the workspace amoungst the files on my computer?
Thanks, Al.
(I have just upgraded from 1.2.1 to 1.2.2, both Windows versions).

ANNOUNCEMENT: New Project- Baltra (AFP/SMB services compatibility)
...sed development/refinement of the
Netatalk project.)
The primary goal of Baltra is to provide a Mac OS X compatible AFP file
sharing service with Samba 3.0 compatibility. We are hoping to have an
AFP file sharing daemon which can run in parallel with Samba 3.0 to
provide seemless file sharing amoungst SMB-based clients (Windows and
MacOS-X) as well as keeping good MacOS-9 client support (via AFP).
Specificly, here's what we are trying to do:
- Save files on the server in such a way as to be compatible with OS X
(resource forks and attributes should be preserved and safely accessable

Samba 3 + PDC + LDAP machine accounts
...ctly.
I have also tried creating a sambaSamAccount object in the right tree, but
the sambaSamAccount requires a sambaSID, which I can't generate (its
suppose to be smbpasswd's job).
If anyone can shed some light on this, it would be most helpful, otherwise
its back to having MACHINE$'s amoungst the list of users in LDAP trees,
which seems rather stupid, considering the purpose of LDAP is to organise
everything neatly.
Thanks heaps,
Nick

[PATCH 0/3] Add support for vhost-scsi-pci
From: Nicholas Bellinger <nab at linux-iscsi.org>
Hi QEMU folks,
The following is the patch series to support vhost-scsi-pci within the
upstream QEMU tree.
This includes the refactoring of existing virtio-scsi code from Paolo
to allow a VirtIOSCSICommon structure that is shared amoungst existing
virtio-scsi-pci device and new vhost-scsi-pci device code.
Currently this code requires Asias's seabios bugfixes (commit 5a7730db5
and b44a7be17), and another tcm_vhost patch to reset vq->last_used_idx
after seabios handoff that's currently in flight for v3.9.0 kernel code.
