New High Performance Rink System Installed In Washington State
...h WISA once again after installing their Mt. Lake Terrace Complex some years ago. They will be very happy with advancements made with our TurboChiller system and the exceptional energy performance it provides over other ice making systems. This owner also wanted to changed from a more dangerous ammonia system to a much safer environmentally stable halocarbon refrigerant." said John Burley. "Many complexes installing ammonia systems today are not being installed in accordance with local or national codes. If someone is hurt or killed with these systems when not installed per code, it...

Using square brackets in a ploted expression
Dear Users, I have the following text plotted inside a graphic: text(16200, 2.8*0.97, expression(NH[3]==0.33-1.1 %*% 10^-5 %*% day), adj=c(1,1)) I need to include square brackets in the expression around the ammonia to have it plotted like that: [NO3-]. I tried instinctively to use %[% to plot the brackets, but it did not work. Does anybody of you know what is the correct syntax to plot square brackets inside an expression? Thank you in advance, José [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

I unscrew the casing, extract the disk platter(s), slide a very strong magnet over both sides of the platter surface then bend the platter in half. How secure is that ? I can't afford a machine that

Afterwards? total useless junk. I often find harddrives with several 10 mm drill-holes in them, in the electronics disposal room at work. I'd say that'd be enough as well. 8-) -- //Sorin

Merbivore.com - Mockups
There''s been some discussion on the IRC channel about getting a site for Merb going. Since the culture around the project is pretty casual, I figured I''d just throw a few ideas together, see what you guys think. So, firstly here are three example pages, just to show off the general look and feel. http://mr-eel.com/tmp/merb/01_frontpage.gif

return value of {....}
Again, John, we are comparing different designs in languages that are often decades old and partially retrofitted selectively over the years. Is it poor form to use global variables? Many think so. Discussions have been had on how to use variables hidden in various ways that are not global, such as within a package. But note R still has global assignment operators like <<- and its partner
