Search fails on underscores in quoted-printable
Hi folks, currently I'm running Dovecot 1.2.1. Compiled from source on Fedora 10 Linux 32 Bit (all patches). Clients are Pine 4.64, Thunderbird 2.0.0.22 and Mutt 1.5.20 (using "=b" for server-side searching). When a message contains the text "under_score" and I let the server search for it, Dovecot does not find it in messages with a Content-Transfer-Encoding of

[LLVMdev] Out of source backend
Hello, I am in a developing process for a new llvm backend (target). Can I create the new target subdirectory out of source. My point is that I want to create a separate svn repo only for my new backend directory and use the llvm project as an external repository. I have to amke some changes to llvm project, to integrate my backend to the llvm, but I won't commit my changes to the llvm repo. I only want to commit the changes to my separate backend svn repo, but I want to update the llvm external repo. This design should be like a llvm read only (but updatable) repo, an...

[LLVMdev] Using ReST for documentation
> Can you compare ReST to docbook? We've talked about using docbook for > a long time. What are the pros and cons of each? I have no experience with DocBook, but it seems that since it is XML-based it should also suffer from verbosity issues. For example, the Boost project, which originally used plain DocBook, decided to build a new ReST-like documentation format[1] on top of it. [1]

[LLVMdev] Using ReST for documentation
I have to give a vote for Boosts QuickBook as well. Nicely made system with a few code related features (considering it is used for documenting C++ libraries).

http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt does a 404 error
Well I'm new here, so first, hi all there ^^. I'm here because initially when I tried to install the latest wine version on Ubuntu 9.04, I was following the instructions and I saw a 404 error. I saw also a lot of post relating 404 errors, but they were user-side errors. So I checked it myself, and I saw that putting http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt on the browser bar makes it give a

Winbind + LDAP Idmap backend finally running!
After many hours of trial and error I finally managed to get my Winbind server with Ldap Idmap backend up and running. I even had to go through parts of the sources but finally I found out what the reason was why my LDAP db never was updated. The problem was that at some point the uid/gid to sid mapping function referred to the "ldap idmap suffix" and at other times to "ldap group

Checking remote servers
I''d like to hear some suggestions about securely administering a system remotely. Here''s the application: a project is going to scatter some server machines around the US. The server machines will be running Linux, with the only network servers being a custom application. Ignoring the separate question of physical security, how can I remotely check the system''s

OT: Which programming language should I use?
Sorry for the OT post, just looking for a pointer from somebody who's been there and done that. I'm looking to write a program that will allow for managing documents that have been encrypted with AES. I want the program to be as cross-platform as possible, so at the least it needs to run in Win2K/WinXP and in linux X-windows (X.org). Now, I used to write in Java a few years ago, so

Replication sieve scripts.
Hello, Are you sure about that I would need so recent version? That is ok to have some bugfixes but you are talking about the latest cutting edge debian jessie backports package. Even the mainline debian jessie only have 2.2.13 in it and my system is a complex wheezy installation, the last thing I want to do is to move all my components into jessie just because of this or do you know
