[cfe-dev] Phabricator -> GitHub PRs?

suggestion: small amendment to Printing How-to
Hi, I have a very small suggested amendment to Chapter 6 of the "Samba How-To Collection" document. This is the chapter about printing. The change I would like to see may seem trivial, but as a relative Samba Newbie, I took a while to figure out this section of the documentation... "Once you have created the required [print$] service and associated subdirectories, simply log

[GIT PULL] amended: first round of vhost-net enhancements for net-next
David, This is an amended pull request: I have rebased the tree to the correct patches. This has been through basic tests and seems to work fine here. The following tree includes a couple of enhancements that help vhost-net. Please pull them for net-next. Another set of patches is under debugging/testing and I hope to get them ready in time for 2.6.35, so there may be another pull request later.

minor Vorbis specification amendment proposal
Hi Vorbis has 3 "global" header packets, while generic containers generally have only a single global header per stream my proposal to solve this, would be to add a few lines to the vorbis specification to clarify how to convert between the 3 headers and the single header needed for non ogg containers currently (without any standarized way) various groups simply use their own

A suggestion for an amendment to tapply
Dear R-developers, when tapply() is invoked on factors that have empty levels, it returns NA. This behaviour is in accord with the tapply documentation, and is reasonable in many cases. However, when FUN is sum, it would also seem reasonable to return 0 instead of NA, because "the sum of an empty set is zero, by definition." I'd like to raise a discussion of the possibility of an

[LLVMdev] Testing requirements amendment
Hi, I havea minor suggestion for http://llvm.org/docs/TestingGuide.html: Under 'Requirements', might be worth mentioning that running the basic llvm/clang regression tests (check-all) requires a version of bash that supports pipefail, i.e. bash 3.0+. On older system where /bin/sh is too old, one simply needs to hack LitConfig.py to point to /somewhere/else/bash that meets this

Need amendment - I_need_the_Kernel_Source
The I_need_the_Kernel_Source wiki article should have instructions to do the procedure as non-root. Installing the source as root may not be as dangerous as compiling something, but nevertheless it is not recommended and is not consistent with the contents of other related articles. Akemi

RPMForge wiki page needs amendment
The Repositories wiki article says, "Priorities is much more flexible and therefore the recommended plugin" under the 3rd party section. However, the Repositories/RPMForge page gives instructions for the protectbase plugin only. Shouldn't this be changed to priorities? Either that or both should be referred to? Akemi

wiki HowTos/Custom_Kernel needs amendment
Hi, I see more and more people attempt to rebuild the CentOS 5 kernel - for example to get the legacy ISA card support turned on, etc. As Jim said on #centos-devel, the Custom_Kernel wiki page is valid for C4 but not so for C5. It seems that he does not have the time to update the page at this moment. I suggest that at least a warning message stating the instructions are not for C5 kernels

Directory Permissions.
Hi all, I've got a RH7.2 system running Samba 2.2.1-4 RPM's and I've got a permissions problem. I've got a share //dcomp2/windows which points to my vfat partition mounted on /drvc/ with UID/GID options in fstab set to my unix user. I can then connect to that share okay, and I can create/amend/delete files without a problem. The problem arrises when I descend down the tree,

Help with a pass
Hi all, I was able to create a pass following [1]. Now goal is amend the pass and try to dump the call graph. I think I have properly amended the source extending my pass from CallGraphSCCPass but unfortunately every time I run it, it crashes. I tried with llvm-6 and llvm-7. I notice that if I change EP_EarlyAsPossible to anything else it does not crash but I don't see the expected string

Samba, the GPL and SCO
For those of you following the IBM vs SCO legal case, you have probably noticed that SCO has said that the GPL is invalid. IBM appears to make the reasonable case that you can't say something is void, and then rely on it. INAL, but why is SCO allowed to distribute Samba without agreeing to the GPL? That's like buying a car, then claiming the sale agreement is bogus but you still want

AMENDED: Ppmtolss16 trouble...
Upon finding a different image conversion program, I have eliminated the Premature EOF problem that I had(apologies if I post this before the moderator approves my first post...you can ignore it if/when it shows up). Now, I am seeing the script complete with no error. I tested my syslinux.dpy file with the syslogo.lss file from the samples, and it's fine. The lss file I created, however,

Re: [R] case-insensitive ZIP
Uwe and Brian, Thanks for your attention to this one. We currently have the following array of atypical situations in our corporate installation: (1) Central install directory, where I neither have nor can reasonably want Administrator priviledges; (2) IT staff willing to maintain R officially but wants to leave *contributed* packages to user groups if at all possible; (3) Direct access from R
