Im running FreeBSD 9.1 on a AMD APU machine: CPU: AMD E-450 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (1699.36-MHz K8-class CPU) FreeBSD 9.1-RELEASE-p1 #0 r243379M: Fri Mar 8 23:16:44 CET 2013 root at pean.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC I try to use amdtemp(4) to read the temperature of this CPU but it doesnt seem to detect the CPU. The manual states that it should support K8-class. The amdtemp.c isnt huge so maybe it is very simple to make it work? Best Regards Peter Ankerst?l.

On asus m5a97 mobo with amd 8120, RC1. Loading amdtemp.ko shows no temperature. People on the net post having source from head solved the issue. Would it be included in 9.1 release? If not, I might compile source and rename it to something like temperature.ko, then load it. Btw, someone knows about new schedule for the release? Best regards all...

...o start fresh. On desktop I put nvidia gt520. Forums say nvidia prop driver dislikes agp op- tion in kernel and recommend removing it. Laptop is sandy bridge with hd3000 integrated. Would I trigger something if I delete agp from conf file in both cases? Another issue bothers me also. RC version of amdtemp failed to read temperatures on 8120. What version will be included in release? Some months ago there was a post of people taking source from current and compiling mo- dule. It worked on 8 core bulldozer. Best regards all Zoran
