[PLUGIN] url_for_with_prefix - allowing you to modify/remove prefixes easily
Here''s the readme. I think it''s okay to post this kind of thing to
the mailing list. Anyway, hopefully someone else finds this useful.
UrlForWithPrefix

By Pat Maddox
Very simple plugin, adds the :prefix option to url_for.
Say in your environment.rb file you''ve got

Ruby Koans an amazing platform for teaching programming. Would this work with R?
...er, hoping to use it as a pragmatic solution to handeling and
plotting lots of data. My skills have increased but are still certainly
limited, and much of the advanced functionality remains a bit of a mystery
to me.
As I have learned more of other languages, particularly Ruby and Javascript,
I am amazed with what can be done and with some concepts I so clearly have
not learned while programming R.
Take a look at Ruby Koans. Would this work for R?

Merb, Mongrel+Erb
Hey there folks-
I''m happy to announce the first useable release of my new pocket-
framework Merb. Merb is a mongrel handler with built in controller
and view templating with erb. It has a nice routing system similar to
rails but much simpler. It uses some of the code from the camping
handler and the rails handler and then some of its own secret sauce
to form imho a nice fast

ImageMagick : Centos GUI ?
...ently automatically, rotating when necessary, downsizing photographs
to 900 pixels wide (the software calculates the height) and labelling
them with the file reference and photograph date - all in one quick
operation. Mind boggling options, more than I've ever seen in similar
software.
Really amazed :-)

Quality difference between opus_demo.exe and opusenc.exe
Hello!
I encoded a voice file (48kHz) with opusbin\opusenc.exe with the
standard settings and decoded it.
The output was amazing. I could not hear any loss at all.
Then i encoded the same file with opus_demo.exe and standard settings
and then decoded it.
The output had a sizzling noise, even when I used full bandwidth.
I think I have played around with any of the settings in opus_demo.exe,

Little list of horrors.
Hi all,
I was investigating the SMB signing problems between Win2k
clients and Windows XP servers and thought I'd take a look to see
if there were any hotfix patches for Win2k that were post service
pack 2.
I discovered this list.... :

"table(droplevels(aq)$Month)" in manual page of droplevels
The last line of the example in droplevels' manual page seems to be incorrect to me. I think it should read: "table(droplevels(aq$Month))". Amazingly (I don't understand) both variants seem to produce the same result (R 3.3.3):

> aq <- subset(aq, Month != "Jul")

rasberry pi
I'm debating between a cloud PBX or, perhaps, rasberry pi. For a SOHO,
maybe three hardphones, rasberry pi would suffice? I would be amazed, but,
if so, great.
thanks,

Latex no where to be seen
I'm experimenting using R as a report writer. I'm told LaTex is the
destination for my quest. But ?latex() gives me an error. The package
manager does not have it. The package installer can't find it. Where is it?
It amazes me that there's not a built in "report" function that can produce
the same kinds of reports that every report writer and data analysis

Sound of breathing
while using iax and a soft phone, the sound of breathing comes through
so clearly that it has started bothering me. Earlier I was amazed at
the quality, but now feel it is irritating. Wondering if there is a
way to cut it down. I am in the process of exploring using iax for a
call center, but this sound of breathing is a disappointment.
Thanks
