getting faster results
Hey,
Can anyone answer this question. I am working with really large datasets and most of the programs I have been running take quite some time.
I heard that R may be faster in Unix. I sthis true and if so can anyone reccomend which system and requirements may allow things to go faster for?
Thanks!!

Dynamic determination of class under test...
I''ve been developing a series of custom assertions for testing my models and it
looks like I can unify most some of the assertions if I can find a good way to
determine the class under test at run-time. Now I refactor my test code rather
vigorously so its not as simple as just stripping "Test" off the name of the
test case class, but I have a few thoughts on a useful convention

More confusion on exclude rules (Success)
Found a space after + /nflmg/scripts/regional/misc_loaders/ which caused the
subdirectory to be missed. Thanks a bunch for your example. That illustrated
the issue well. Once I got rid of the space and saw that your example did
work, it made it much easier to understand how the rules build. The key was
understanding how the alogrithm is recursive.
Thanks,
Dave

[PATCH] --source-filter && --dest-filter for rsync 2.5.6
Hi,
I needed to filter content of files (encrypt), before they are sent over the network to backup server.
The easiest way to do this was modifying Kyle Jones's "--dest-filter" patch.
Somebody was asking there this feature in the past, so I'm sending this patch to list.
Implementation details:
-filtering disables rsync alogrithm
-source filter makes temporary files in /tmp

RE: Asterisk-Users digest, Vol 1 #3408 - 12 msgs
I am looking to install a web interface for Asterisk to transfer calls and look who's on the phone. If anybody has a working web interface please let me know. I installed the www.asternic.com (operator)
But when I bring up my web browser it says transferring data and does not bring a browser.
