What I want to confirm is that they do not actually take effect unless called manually, correct? Even though Action.AllowSMTP processes at startup, it will not actually affect the firewall on the machine? My concern when first learning Shorewall was that these default actions were in fact altering the firewall and opening ports on me. I just want to confirm that this is not the case. Thanks!
