Coding columns for survival analysis
Hello Folks,
I have 5 columns for thousands of tree records that record whether that
tree was alive or dead. I want to recode the columns such that the cell
reads "found" when a live tree is first observed, "alive" for when a
tree is found alive and is not just found, and "mort" when it was
previously alive but is now dead.
Given the following:

Alive now available online
Not sure how off-topic this is, but should we consider/have we considered
porting our InstCombines to Alive? The PLDI '15 paper even demos C++
extraction from Alive theorems. I think it'd be a small step from that to
extracting tightly optimized VM code, not unlike what Tablegen emits.
Everything would be so clean and readable and organized. And edge cases can
still be handled manually,

Where did Alive go?
Sorry, we really screwed up the server migration.
Alive is now working again and should be fixed for good :)
Permalinks are still missing; we are working on recovering those.
Apologies again for all the trouble.

Where did Alive go?
Craig I know it's a pain compared to the web interface but Alive is
pretty easy to install and run from a shell.

Alive now available online
Hi Sanjay,
You used Alive correctly, of course :)
At this moment we cannot give you the best precondition. It’s on the todo list, but it’s not even started yet. It’s a much harder problem to solve. We do have a mode to compute the best set of nsw/nuw/exact attributes in the transformed expression, but it’s not enabled on the web interface yet (InstCombine was missing quite a few cases last

Where did Alive go?
Alive is now working again. There was a migration to a new server.
Permalinks are still being copied from backup; they will work again
shortly as well. (I would probably not create new ones since they may
get replaced while the copy is in flux).

getting t.test to work with apply()
Hi, I'm interested in using apply() with t.test() on a data.frame.
Specifically, I'd like to use apply() to do the following:
t.test(raw.sample[1,alive],raw.sample[1,dead])
t.test(raw.sample[2,alive],raw.sample[2,dead])
t.test(raw.sample[3,alive],raw.sample[3,dead])
etc.
I tried the following,
apply(raw.sample,1,function(x) t.test(raw.sample[,alive],raw.sample[,dead]))
but it gives

how to change my data to "point data set" in package "SPLANCE"?
Hi!
I want to use the package "SPLANCE" to do Ripley's K analysis
I have a basic question about the package.
I try to find how to do it, but I cannot.
I hope you can help me.
I donot know how to change my data form to "point data set".
my data form is:

Alive now available online
Hi,
Just a short email to announce that Alive is now available online:
http://rise4fun.com/Alive
The site includes a few examples (both correct and buggy). You can also
create a "permalink" to send the proof to someone else.
The execution time is limited to 30 seconds for now. You may want to
constrain the operand's types if the tool times out, for example.
The service is

OPTIONS Keep alive - Reply: 481 No subscription
Hi all,
Anyone know how to make asterisk properly reply to options keep-alive? Or
just force a 200 OK somehow?
I recently took over a server and they have ~80 pap2 devices that send nat
keep-alive and * always replies with 481 No subscription. It's more of an
annoyance, I know but I like to keep my pcap's clean.

Linksys SPA94x keep-alive reply replies to wrong address (1.4.32)
It appears as though the 489 Bad Event response to the NAT keep alive
event responds to the local address, instead of responding to the
NATted address.
This causes Linksys phones to go amber (no registration) after a short
amount of time after placing calls.
Turning the Linksys NAT keep alive off is a workound, but non-ideal in
may situations.
Apparently the asterisk devs don't even think

Keep Alive packets
Hello Everyone,
Would it be posiable to add a "keep alive" option to rsync. The problem
I am having is that the connection is dropped while rsync is scanning
the local directory. If "null" packets are send to the server every 60
seconds or so, the connection will stay up and the sync will work.
Or maybe there is an option that does this already ?
Thanks,

Server/Client Alive mechanism issues
Hello,
I have a bandwidth-constrained connection that I'd like to run rsync
over through an SSH tunnel. I also want to detect any network drops
pretty rapidly.
On the servers I'm setting (via sshd_config):
ClientAliveCountMax 5
ClientAliveInterval 1
TCPKeepAlive no
and on the clients I'm setting (via ssh_config):
ServerAliveCountMax 5
ServerAliveInterval 1
TCPKeepAlive no

Lapack routine dgesv: system is exactly singular
Hi
I have a problem with this error, I have searched the archives and found
previous discussion about this, can I cannot understand how the explanations
apply to what I am trying to do.
I am trying to do Log_rank Survival analysis, I have included tables and str
command, is it a factor/integer problem? If so how do I correct this, as all
my attempt to recode the data have failed.
