File shares seem to timeout?
...samba server joined to a Win 2000 domain.
It all works fine except that for some reason if a Win2KPro client has a
file/folder open overnight (or for a long time), then they are disconnected.
I can't find a relevant timeout setting when browsing through swat.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks,
Alistair.

[PATCH] drm/bochs: Fix the ID mismatch error
...s device attached via PCIe the
probe of the Bochs device fails with:
[drm:bochs_hw_init] *ERROR* ID mismatch
This was introduced by this commit:
7780eb9ce8 bochs: convert to drm_dev_register
To fix the error we ensure that pci_enable_device() is called before
bochs_load().

uri authentication
...http://www.icecast.org/docs/icecast-2.3.1/icecast2_listenerauth.html
is uri authentication an extension of http authentication? i.e. if you use uri authentication the user is also asked for their username and password, which are sent to the script via the username and password options?
thanks,
Alistair

Unable to map drives to samba shares
...onf file. From what
the man page says,
it defaults to 0, and should mean there is no restriction on the number of
connections, but
we don't have a vast number of people connecting anyway (currently smbstatus
-S shows about
11 shares).
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
Many thanks,
Alistair Lord

Asterisk download file locations
...them
and send them to our resellers.
Would it be possible to have a fixed address for a particular asterisk
release that will never (or at least not for a long time) change?
Perhaps put all (except very old) versions in the same directory, with a
'latest' link to the latest one?

Hi-

You're suggesting that inline asm is more portable than calling abort?

Opinions of Sphinx?
...as anyone tried Asterisk and Sphinx (bonus points if in a production
environment)? If so, what's your opinion on quality of recognition,
stability, resource usage, etc?
Anyone have any recommendations of other speech recognition products
(commercial considered) that work with Asterisk?
