...Windows NT installation to a directory that Wine can access. Bookman is not in that directory, but Bookman Old Style is. Why doesn't Wine use the Bookman available through X to display that document with? I've tried the following alias in my Wine config file without any success: "Alias0" = "Bookman, -adobe-helvetica-, subst" Is there some glaring mistake I don't see? Hello, when i run any application in wine (including for example regedit), font is TOO small, sometimes even unreadable. Changing parameters like Resolution (or LogPixels registry entry) or default fonts ("Default", "Defaultfixed", etc..., Alias0 = System, ....) *****************HAS NO EFFECT!******************** xfontsel tool shows, that all fonts mentioned in config file are installed. No error message from wine....... Any HINT, please? Thanks Nyyr

...or the fonts you've just installed. On my system I don't have ~/.wine/config file for users but only one in /etc/wine/config. But that's not the problem. I can't find any aliases in my config file ! 4. I try to create an alias for my font but I'm not sure about the syntax : Alias0 = Omnis Monospace, -Omnis-Monospace- It doesn't change anything... ...r - problem is that the music symbols are replaced by squares (like the default symbol caracter), making the music unreadable! I thought that importing the Maestro fonts with DrakeFont (Mandrake 8.0) and making them available to the system would help, but it doesn't. ...urier New in wine, it only shows numbers and a few punctuation bits. When I change the font to Courier in the Wine'd app, I can see things properly. So, I'm thinking that I should try to substitute this with courier font. I've tried editing the .wine/config file and adding in "Alias0" = "-courier new-,-courier-,subst" (and a few permutations along the way - with and without the subst, more dashes etc) but it's not working. I have sucessfully gotten steam and wine to work however I cannot use microphone for voice communication , I an using alsa .Is there a way to turn on fullduplex sound like you do in winex by going into config and changing fullduplex=Y or does wine not support such a feature?
