Need help with Shorewall
I am using debian sarge. I want to block all incoming requests except DNS (port 53) and allow all outgoing traffic. I did a apt-get shorewall. When I start shorewall, I cannot even ping to any external site. I am a newbie and difficult to follow the online guide. Can anyone please help me. Thanks !

Music on Hold Quality
Does anyone know how to maximize music on hold quality on calls inbound from PSTN? I know that it is common to have choppy and static sounding music on hold when connecting via PSTN but how can that be minimized? I assume that the bitrates, type of music, etc can minimize the effects. Does anyone have any experience in this area? Do you know where I should look for more information?

Question on CAR appendix on NLS
The PDF file on the web, which is an appendix on nonlinear regression associated with the CAR book, is very nice. When I ran through the code presented there, I found something odd.
