8th will work for me. Can we pick a place that is not overly noisy?

...one,
It turns out that Wednesday would not work for me, so it would be great if
we can change this to Tuesday (the 8th), the same time. I talked to Jeff
and Rafael and they're both fine with that. Does this work for others who
are interested in this as well?
Cheers,

The next meeting is going to be Wednesday next week (9th) at 19:00.
Lets try a somewhat quieter place this time:
http://www.harbordhouse.ca.
No web app for the GTA one, just reply to me if you are going :-)
Cheers,
Rafael

http://www.harbordhouse.ca should be fine, but let us know if you have
another suggestion.

File/folder with non-Latin characters
...server/$share" "backup/$server/$share"
umount "/mnt/$server/$share"
How can I solve this problem? The ideal solution I'm seeking is the
Linux server being ablt to save file names in UTF-8 (which, I guess,
should work from Windows side).
Thanks for any help!

Samba/Unicode
Hi all,
I have set up a Linux server to back up the PCs on our LAN. The PCs run
Win2K proand WinXP. I've used Samba version 3.0.10, which comes with Ubuntu
5.04, together with smbmount to mount the Windows shares on the Linux box,
and rsync into the backup directory from there.
The system works smoothly for files with English names, but fails for files
with non-English characters in
