CUPS postscript driver - setting up **ERRATA**
...latest tar.gz file (cups-samba-5.0rc3.tar.gz) it doesn't
unpack the files as:
cupsdrvr.dll
cupsui.dll
cups.hlp
but as
cupsdrv5.dll (5 instead of r)
cupsui5.dll (extra 5)
cups5.hlp (extra 5).
This causes the cupsaddsmb to fail.
If the files are renamed, then it works OK.

Chris Aitken

Recovery of RAIDZ with broken label(s)
Hi all,
I have a 5 drive RAIDZ volume with data that I''d like to recover.
The long story runs roughly:

2) Two drives were moved to a HP P411 SAS/SATA controller
3) I *think* the HP controllers wrote some volume information to the end of
each disk (hence no more ZFS labels 2,3)
4) In its "auto

Kerberos 5 Security Alert?
Why wasn't there a FreeBSD security alert for Kerberos 5? Does FreeBSD
use the MIT implementation? I got an email from CERT about this. See
the attached message below.

Advice on picking a regression method
Dear R-users,
There are tons of methods out there for fitting independant variables to a
dependent variable. All stats books tell you about the assumptions behind
OLS (ordinary least squares) and warn against abusive use of the method
(which many of us do disregard by lack of a better knowledge). Most
introductory text books stop there and don't tell you what the next best
option might be. I

I have a number of FreeBSD machines. Most are 4.x,

Debian add user etc scripts & usrmgr.exe
Hi All,
I have just joined this list, and this is my first post - so please bear
with me.
I am running debian testing (sarge) with a 2.4.23-1-686 kernel, and a self
compiled samba-3.0.0final (--with-quotas), deployed from self built *.debs.
It is running as a PDC (smb.conf at bottom of post), and I have successfully
mapped "Domain Users" to unixgroup users, "Domain Admins"
