Wifi WEP / Cisco aironet wireless internal card 802.11b
Hi,
I have a IBM ThinkPat T30 a Cisco Aironet wireless internal in the
laptop 802.11b only.
It works great with open Acess points, but when i try to connect to
encripted ones.
I got the dialog box asking for the passphrase 128 bit, I enter it and
after that i receive the dialog box again!
Maybe my card do not support WEP or I am doing somet...

We are trying them out around Wellington, on the citywide
Wifi network. They work very very well.
Interesting menu options implying mechanisms to take the 11
channels of WiFI, and dedicate 1-3 for voice, and turn the
rest over to data. There were some rumours that they only
work on Cisco Aironet base stations.... They work fine on
DLink, Kamaguza, and Uncle Tom Cobblies base stations...
SCCP only, and don't hold your breath....

MRTG + Samba
Hi all
Just wondering if anyone has pointers for graphing data from Samba using
MRTG. I already have MRTG graphing things like signal strength (cisco
aironet pci), total kbps in/out each interface, mem and disk i/o usage.
I'd like to graph, for example, average number connections over time; or
maybe logins per hour .... or failed logins per hour.
I know MRTG's requirements for input formatting -- it's getting the
first two of these four nu...

Kernel Problems
Hello,
I have strange kernel problems.
Using your default distrib with 2.2.19 it's ok
When i change it to 2.4.18 .. i need the aironet wireless stuff and when
it loads before starting uncompressing it reboots.
I think the problem is in the machine
Pentium 100,32MB Ram SIS chipset
Can you send me your .config for the kernel 2.2.19 so i can seen where i
am wrong

More Success on the Cisco 7920 and SCCP !!!!!
Hi All,
have some decent success on the 7920 "activation" in Asterisk.
Latest status:
chan_skinny does NOT work with 7920
chan_sccp does WORK with 7920 (!!)
however:
to remove coredumping the chan_sccp just comment out the MWI
(messagewaitingindicator), then it compiles fine.
Then change sccp_helper.c: return "P0060302" instead of the old value.
and voila:
Phone is

ADSI phone vs. IP phone
Assuming the price of an ADSI screen phone (say, Aastra 390) was the same
as an IP screen phone (say, Cisco 7960) and someone was setting up an *
server for their 20 employees (each of whom would have either an ADSI or IP
phone on their desk), would there be advantages to using the ADSI phones
over the IP phones, or vice-versa? For discussion, let's assume that the
hardware needed to

Hi,
Is the http://xenbits.xensource.com/linux-2.6-xen.hg tree still being
updated? if not, what''s the preferred Linux tree to track that has all

Thanks,
