Integration with muCommander
...reads from stdin/writes to stdout. Do you have any experience in
using this to inject/retrieve data directly from/to a Java application
(that holds an input/output stream at hand) without going through the disk?

...ood point. I touched the deployment aspect also in [1] - by
making it a plugin I can provide it only on linux and declare libguestfs as
a dependency *of the plugin*. As the functionality I need from libguestfs
is pretty basic, I really hope I could use the default build of libguestfs
:)

Questions on libguestfs-java
Hi,
When using the libguestfs-java bindings, java.library.path should point to
the place the JNI stuff resides in. In [1] it was suggested to set it
to /usr/local/lib
but apparently, it is deployed elsewhere in other distributions, right? so
I wonder what is the recommended way of setting it in a Java application
that could execute on various distributions.
