Tweaking AGGRESSIVE_SUPPRESSOR
Using TDM400's here and I have tried everything to cure the echo. I have used the Milliwatt test from the telco and from asterisk to tune RX/TX gain via a patched ztmonitor. What happens is I experience midcall echo. I turned on aggressive_suppressor and it seems to do great. The problem happens with misc. noise around the office will cause it to mute the other end of a phone call while they are talking. I haven't been able to find anywhere in the MEC2 source to limit when it mutes the remote party. It seems to do it with just the slight...

TDM400P and AGGRESSIVE_SUPPRESSOR dropping calls
...clicks that I had assumed were a result of this. So, I ordered a TDM400P with 4 FXO modules and installed it in the box last night. Today, we've had nothing but problems with it dropping calls. I installed the latest CVS of everything, and we've been getting random hangups. If I disable AGGRESSIVE_SUPPRESSOR, the random hangups seem to stop but we of course experience *really* bad echo. I have busydetect=yes and busycount=8, which has previously been working just fine with the X100Ps. Does anyone have an idea what's going on or how to fix it?

TDM400P bad echo problem, tried lots of things

AGGRESSIVE_SUPPRESSOR
Has anyone turned this on and then noticed that calls coming from queue's seem delayed? I.e. when a call rings an extension (or agent) that it says the call is connected, yet the call remains in the queue, and can take upto 20 seconds to be established with the agent. I have only noticed this when this is enabled in zconfig.h Has anyone else had a similar experience? Cheers,

...hone calls. Is this a sound theory? If so, perhaps there are some common telecommunications devices or wiring practices that are used in modern high-rise buildings that may be causing the problem? Echo problem update - POSSIBLE SOLUTION
...permicro, but it was still there. There is NO echo on the DL380 We are currently testing the Compaq 6400R for compatability and will let the list know how it goes. Any echo issues with phones from TDM400P > X100P
Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing a TDM400P card and was wondering if anyone has experienced any echo issues with phones off these cards connecting to the PSTN via the X100P cards? Some echo?
I have a 12 channel PRI with SNOM 190's and asterisk CVS from January. Most calls are fine, all incoming calls are fine, but I am getting echo on a significant number of outgoing calls. The person on the other side hears a perfect call, but the SIPphone side gets to hear themselves. It happens 100% of the time to some numbers (outgoing only), and only sporadically to others. TE405P and echo
I am using a SIP softphone (X-lite, SIPPS or Firefly) connected to an Asterisk v 1.0.3 PBX.
