Use Microsoft shared fax printer?
Hello:
Is it possible to use Samba to send documents to
a Microsoft Shared Fax Printer?
How would I give it the phone number and other recipient
details that normally comes in the popup window when
I print to a shared fax printer from Windows?
Thanks,
Neil

VNC server not reponding to external requests
...a connection
timeout.
My /etc/sysconfig/vncservers file does not have the -nolisten tcp nor the
-localhost
options so it should be configured to accept outside connections.
Is there some default setting in the vncserver that I need to change to
allow outside
connections?

CentOS 7 - Firewall always allows outgoing packets?
...s not seem very secure.
I always set my servers to default policy of DROP for everything incoming
and outgoing and then add rules to allow very specific traffic through.
Is this possible using the new firewalld service or should I disable it and
go back to using iptables?
Thanks,

Use 8GB RAM on Pentium D?
...a Supermicro SuperServer 5015P-TR.
It has a Pentium D and is running CentOS x86_64.
Can this machine use 8GB RAM?
I think it should because it is running a 64 bit
OS, but I am concerned because it is fundamentally
32 bit hardware.
Anyone have any experience in this area?
Thanks,
Neil

[LLVMdev] Machine Function Pass
I tried
llc -load /localhome/aggarwa4/llvm27/llvm-obj/projects/poolalloc/Debug/lib/libCodegen.so
--help
But this does not show my pass. It says it is an unknown command line argument.

Recommendation for PCI-e SATA RAID 5 card?
...ld like to use RAID 5 with 3 drives
so I have to have those capabilities.
It has to be CentOS 5.4 compatible (Of course!).
I took a look at the offerings from 3Ware, but
their cards are too long.
If you have a card you are happy with, I would
appreciate a recommendation.

Problem installing RMySQL package!

This worked for me on Windows 7 64 bit, so there should be no problems with 32 bit versions
II tried the above steps, but I am still facing problems.
Is RTools something different from RProject. I did not find anything by the name RTools at the given link?

Need info on vnet mapping to guests

I see that vnet1 is connected to guestA and vnet0 is connected to

Is there a better way to determine which vnet is connected to
which guest?
Also, does the mapping change when I stop and start guests
or reboot the host?
Thanks,

[NPM] Register target specific pass with opt
Hello LLVM community,
I was trying to port a target specific loop transformation pass (HexagonVectorLoopCarriedReusePass) to the New Pass Manager. However, I could not figure out a way to register this pass with opt. I can see that llvm/lib/Passes/PassRegistry.def is the registry for target independent passes. Can anyone point me to an example/API which can help me in registering this pass so

Does anyone have experience with these tools and have

dumpe2fs and repquota not agreeing on block size
...1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/md2 39674140 20401792 17224468 55% /var
Which tells me the blocks are 1K in size. The repquota
result makes much more sense with a 1K block size.
Any idea why dumpe2fs is giving a 4K block size?
Thanks,
Neil
