Cacti-based monitoring
Hi,
I maintain several dom0 hosts, and I would like to monitor the following
with Cacti:
* the overall hypervisor CPU usage
* available hypervisor memory (e.g. memory that can be allocated to new
domUs)
and maybe:
* domU CPU usage
But the latter is not as important to me right now.
Anyone have any pointers on how I might do this? My knowledge of Cacti
is very basic. Basically: has anyone

When asterisk is running as a non-root user (asterisk) SNMP request
for for the Asterisk MIB tree return nothing. If I quit asterisk and
run it as root, all is fine. Does anyone have a idea what is going
on? I have never used agentX, so I am unsure of what it is doing.
Does it bind to a particular port that maybe my asterisk user does not
have permission to access???

ast-ax-snmpd release 0.3
Hi to all,
today I have released the version 0.3 of ast-ax-snmpd.
It is some code that adds the snmp subagent functionality to asterisk,
using the ucd snmp framework and following the agentX standard.
It has tested under debian woody, with specific version of ucd_snmp,
so your mileage may vary.
I am evaluating to transfer this effort under a more recent net-snmp
umbrella,
this could permit ast-ax-snmpd to run under different distributions.
Let me know please what do you think about...

According to Eicon cards :
Using the AgentX protocol Diva SNMPX extends an
existing snmp master agent to provide runtime data of
installed Diva Server adapters. It provides call and
line statistics as well as status and errors.
Supported OIDs include the MIB-II ifTable (RFC

SNMP for Asterisk
Hi,
Is there a module within the Asterisk standard distribution that provides
SNMP features?
Is there any third party software for that purpose?
Regards,
Stojan Sljivic

Windows port
Hi!
I would like to ask about current state of Windows port. Is it frozen? It will be cool to know the plans :)
Where are a lot of Windows-branches at GitHub. What is the most actual one?
The Windows builder looks like turned off, am I right that it is not available currently and where were no builds after version 2.6.5-6?
I couldn't find any info about proper environment to build Windows
