R.xpm?
I use AfterStep on Linux. I made an R.xpm file (attached)
and put this icon in the "wharf". To invoke R I click on the R icon.
I did not find an offical R.xpm, and so I am submitting this one

R-beta: re-appearing workspace
I am using R Version 0.62.0 Unstable-snapshot (April 26, 1998)
on Linux. I use the AfterStep window manager.
Problem. Once upon a time, a workspace was saved. But at the end of
this session, on quitting R I say "no", don't save workspace.
On starting up, there are all the old objects again!
I take it that the workspace is saved as ~/.RData.
So is the only solution to manua...

XPM of Samba logo?
Does anyone have an XPM version of the new Samba logo? (Suitable for an
AfterStep/fvwm etc wharf).

Is this slowness normal?

I have installed wine 20010629 from codeweavers (this seems to be the
latest version available from there).
Running on a 700MHz Linux box, with gnome as the desktop manager and icewm
as the window manager.
If I run the (in)famous SOL.EXE, it takes 53 seconds before the program
appears on the desktop. All the other programs I've tried seem to

pauses sync'ing between tmpfs and disk on Linux 2.4.x
I've set up a 1GB tmpfs filesystem on a system with a single IDE disk and
2GB's of memory. I'm storing a large amount of RRD files (~300MB) on the
tmpfs filesystem to make their generation a bit speedier... this part works
great.
However, I want to rsync these files over from time to time to a directory on
the local filesystem (same physical server). I'm using rsync 2.6.4pre3
