Winbind Daemon fails to start, group shares no longer functioning

Logging into Samba PDC with LDAP + Kerberos Backend
Hi, I've been working to integrating a Samba PDC, running 3.5.3, with an existing LDAP + Kerberos backend. After much research and testing I've gotten to the point where I can join Windows clients to my domains but I haven't yet managed to get authentication via Samba to work. The goal is to have Windows clients use our single sign-on as we do with the rest of our infrastructure.

Win7 Joining Domain, LDAP Profile Created but Join Fails
Hello All, I am back with yet another issue. I am currently running a Samba 3.5.10-125 PDC on RHEL 6.2. My backend is LDAP, and I am using the smbldap scripts for dealing with ldap profiles related to my samba instance. Group Share's Not accessible for any users
Hello All, I have recently run into an issue with group shares. All users in my network can authenticate off my samba 3.6.5 PDC, and access their windows profiles/personal shares. My authentication is backed by LDAP. Within LDAP each user is a member of a particular posix group pertaining to the department they are in. I use winbind for mapping, I can join machines to the domain, add users, etc

All, I see the following message fairly frequently in our nsd.log files: error: failed reading from tcp: Connection reset by peer A quick grep through the source code reveals that this log message comes from server.c, and can come pretty much at any time during a TCP query. Since: - This condition occurs during normal operation, and - There is nothing a server operator can do about it. I
