Strange problem with ActionMailer
I have the following code to send out email notifications. The view
can vary for each call to signup_confirmation, so I''m setting
template_root on each call in order to do that. It works for a while,
but after a few days it will start using a value of signup_path that
was used in a previous call. In other words, Notifier.template_root =
signup path does not actually set

Question: Are there specific standards about this for R mailing lists?

XMPP issues in Asterisk 11.6.0 for distributed device states...
I have been working with distributed device states in Asterisk using XMPP
attached to an OpenFire server. I have it working well across two servers
and want to roll it out across every server in my company. All servers are
Asterisk 11.6.0. I am running into a problem that seems like it should be
a bit easier to solve than it is seeming to be. On the third server I am

Active directory and multiple forests
Well I'm hoping someone here can give me some assistance. Where I work we
manage multiple AD forests. We are looking for a way to centrally manage
this. Right now each forest has its own logins for our support people here.
I hoping there's a way to make samba make this a bit easier. I know samba
will do domain trusts, but is there a way to have it have do trusts to each
seperate forest.

Affiliate plugin
Hello all,
I''ve been looking around everywhere for a valid plugin that will allow
for creation of an affiliate account along with a specific link for
the signup.
Additionally it would need the ability to track sales with the link
and possibly a cookie for returning customers.
I''ve looked at the affiliate project that''s available via github but

Hmisc::pstamp, mfcol, and spacing
I am trying to make a nice 2x1 plot and add a timestamp with comment.
The pstamp function from Hmisc works nicely when mfcol=c(1,1),
but when mfcol=c(2,1), the stamp winds up in the wrong place:

X-HTMLifying Code
This falls into the category of "wonder if anyone''s done this"?
The site I''m working on now has affiliate sponsors who provide link HTML.
Almost all of it violates some W3C spec for XHTML, the primary offenders
being capitalized tag names and unclosed tags like IMG. They also include
ampersands as query-string separators, which also offends the W3C Validator.

how to combine two data frames via factors (or somehow else)
Hello!
The question should be very naive, but I am a beginner and stuck with
this unfortunately.
There is a dataset of people's affiliation to companies that looks
like that (a data frame actually)
x y
1 a X
2 b X
3 c X
4 f Z
5 e Z
6 g Z
where x is a name of a person and y is a company name. That is, a,b,c
work in a company X. f,e,g work in a company Z.
and there is another dataset with the

how to undo automatic loading of packages?
I wanted to try out package distrMod, so I did

and played around, saved and quit.
Now whenever I start up in this directory, I get distr and lots of other
stuff loaded and lots of messages.
How do I keep it from automatically loading, other than starting over in
another directory?
I read ?Startup, but I couldn't suss out

missing group affiliation on ad dc
Might I found (a reason for) my problem.
Domain ID's and BUILTIN ID's are overlapping.
For example "EXAMPLE\domain admins" has gid "512", "EXAMPLE\backup" has gid "10039" and "BUILTIN\print operators" has 550. Could this be a problem?
My strange group/share access-problem stillt exists, I can't figure it out >.<

OT: Mobile voip - WCell
Not related to asterisk: but I figured someone here would have used them
before?
Has anyone tried http://www.wcell.com/ab/ZnJpZW5kLzEwNjI= yet?
Looks like they have a voip app for your mobile handset sending voice
calls out over your data service or wifi for 1c per minute calls both in
the USA and internationally.
Wondering if i should sign up with them for my trip to Australia

Help with reshaping data.frame
I'm having trouble reshaping a data.frame from long to wide.
(I think that's the right terminology; feel free to educate me.)
I've looked at the reshape function and package and plyr package,
but I can't quite figure out how to do this after a dozen variations.
I have a data.frame with more levels than this, but similar to:

How can I execute a .R/script file
Dear R-Users,
I've written a number of functions in a .R/script file. I would like to
call those functions from another script file. How can I execute all the
code in a script file so that the functions are available for use in my
other script file ?
I have tried help.search("script") and various Google alternatives but
couldn't come up with anything.
Thanks in advance,
